bears training camp

well since I will not be attending any bears games this year I thought it would be a great idea to go to training camp. We packed up and went as soon as I got home from work and it was fun, hot but fun! There was a lot of things to do for kids which I was not aware of and we got to see all the players up close. we took a few pics during practice but I was not aware that we were going to be getting autographs too I I was not prepared for the camera then--- I got John Tate, Ricky Manning, and Garza. though Tommie Harris was standing next to me though did not take my autograph sheet--too many other kids. It was crazy seeing all of them so close and how huge they looked. I will try to post some practice pics later in the week.

Summer Fun

we have been busy this summer- here are a few of the things that we have done. We went to the zoo on beanie baby day and got some pics taken with the frog and the shark. We went to the family area and there were bunnies to pet which we though Erica would be all over though she was afraid of the bunnies. The one brown bunny kept approaching her though she kept trying to back up into me. She loves the merry go round so of course daddy took her this time.

We also made our way to the splash pad over at the bolingbrook mall and she loved playing with all the kids that were there though it was stressful for me cause I didn't want any of the bigger kids falling or tripping over her.

She is now more into her stuffed animals and thank goodness, she has tons of them. Here are a few pics with the teddy bears and her chair. She likes to sit in her chair and cuddle with her bears or read her books with them.

erica 1 year appointment

Erica had her one year appointment this past week and we have stayed pretty steady on the growth curves, still a little peanut. She is not yet 20lbs yet so we were told to hold off on turning her car seat around-- sorry peanut. She does understand simple one step questions and comments- She has been making the funniest of faces lately as well.

My pregnancy has been going well, I have definetly started to gain weight and look nice and round again. The baby is moving tons- I had my glucose test done a few weeks ago and it was negative. After this appointment comming up I will be down to every two weeks. It is crazy I can't beleive how quickly these months are flying by.

On that not Congrats to the graske family, who added Cole Anthony to their family on 7-16-08 he is so cute, I have gotten to see him twice already and it feels so comfortable holding a small, cute, cuddley, warm baby.

Here is erica's cake and the small one is her smash cake. We found a new cake lady and the cakes were great. She was not too happy the first time around so we put it in the fridge for take two later in the weekend and she had a blast with it of course.

Sea World

We went to sea world when we were in California, it was great definetly worth the admission which was costly. We took our picture next to one of the Clydesdales which look HUGE next to our peanut. We saw many different types of penguins and erica got to feel the arctic ice on the walls of one of the exhibits.

We got to see somw awesome shows including the dolphin show Erica was so amazed with the dolphins and the tricks that they were doing, she started clapping when everyone cheered. We also saw the shamu show which is named Believe. It was so great the trainers were so good it has got to be an amazing job to work with these animals. Here are a few shots of the great day that we had.

We had valeries bridal shower june 29th at Mongolian BBQ and it was great. she got wonderful gifts and we got to eat good food too. She is getting married on Sept 5 in woodridge at the seven bridges in which I am the matron of honor and Kathryn is also a bridesmaid- here are a few more pics of the shower.

Erica is ONE!

WoW, I can't believe she is ONE!! It has been an awesome year I can't beleive how much she has changed and it is the most amazing feeling to be part of something so wonderful. To know that jimmy and I played a part in all the great triumphs she has gone through this year. I have been scrapbooking trying to catch up--yeah right! but going through all the pics and everything we have done this year I feel truley blessed to have such a wonderful girl in my life to show me the good things, the bad things, to make me laugh and cry and of course teach me patience and confidence. So thank you to Erica!

Well she is not yet walking on her own just holding on to everything- she is on whole milk and drinking lots of it- wow. We are trying to transition the bottle this month most days she uses a cup and only bottle at night but she has her cranky days too. She loves ice cream - this is not a big shocker! We have her offical one year appointment on thursday.

Her birthday party was great I can't believe what a beautiful weekend it was - 80 degrees good breeze yeah!! It was great so have friends and family share the moment with us- she got such wonderful gifts including four shopping carts-- very popular item. She was not too happy once it came to cake time she cried but we saved the cake and did part two with mommy and daddy over the weekend and she realized what she had been missing because she loved it.

Adam and Ambers wedding

We were in California for a reason- not just vacation, we went to a wedding. Jimmys cousin Adam got married on a cruise ship. They of course went on the cruise for us we had to disembark oh well. The wedding was great Amber looked beautiful here is a few pics from the wedding. CONGRATS!!
